Privacy statement

Last updated 18 August 2026

This site collects as little as possible. Below is exactly what happens to anything you leave behind, in plain language.

Who processes your data

Marius Kerkvliet, trading as murmweb.dev, Herenstraat 83A, 2313 AG Leiden, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce 99702738. Questions about your data go to hello@murmweb.dev.

The contact form

If you fill in the form, I send your name, email address and message as an email to my own inbox. There is no database: your message arrives as mail and stays there. I use it only to answer you and send a quote, never for advertising, and I pass it to nobody.

How long I keep it

If it does not become a job, I delete the correspondence within a year. If it does, I keep the records for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it.

Visitor counts

I count how many people visit and which page they see, using Vercel Analytics. It works without cookies and without recording anything about you personally. I cannot see who you are, only that someone came by.

Cookies

One cookie, and only if you click the language button yourself: it remembers whether you want Dutch or English. That is all. No advertising cookies, no tracking cookies, no cookie banner needed.

Companies that help me

The site runs on Vercel and the email goes through Resend. Both are processors: they may only use your data to provide that service. Beyond that I share nothing with anyone.

Your rights

You can always ask what data I hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. One email to hello@murmweb.dev is enough and I answer within a working day. If you disagree with how I handle it, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
